Throughout May and June, you will be able to visit a community venue near you for a general health and wellbeing check and to receive your spring COVID-19 vaccination.
In partnership with primary care, the Vaccination Centre at St Mary’s Hospital is inviting the island community to drop in to a local health and wellbeing clinic in their area for advice and support about their health and wellbeing and an opportunity to get a COVID vaccination this spring.
The team will be offering blood pressure checks, information and advice on healthy lifestyle choices such as weight management support, stopping smoking, diabetes, stress management and much more.
If you are 75 or over 18 with severe immunosuppression, you can have your spring COVID vaccination dose. Nurses from the Hospital Vaccination Centre will be available to talk through any questions or concerns that you may have and connect you to sources of support.
Sue Lightfoot, Clinical Lead at St Mary’s Vaccination Centre said “Local clinics mean you don’t have to travel far to get support. Coming along may help catch issues early before they become a serious problem”
“There is no need to book, just come along and see us at any of the health and wellbeing clinics and our friendly team will be very happy to see you and support you with your health and wellbeing.”
