Our Endoscopy Unit is a fully functional state-of-the-art diagnostic unit, accredited by the national Joint Advisory Group (JAG), which monitors quality and performance ensuring the service meets all national standards in the provision of its services.
It is run by a dedicated and well experienced team that has been involved with over 6,500 procedures each year.

Our unit also offers bowel cancer screening programme lists in collaboration with Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU).
Patients referred by either their GP or consultant, are first pre-assessed, based on the modality, and then provided with an appointment for the procedure.
Patients are strongly encouraged to attend the appointments or provide advance notice of any changes.
